BY CAR:
From south via Southern Motorway (SH1)

  • Exit at Khyber Pass Road (exit # 430) turn left up Khyber Pass Road to the top of the hill, pass straight through the Symonds Street shopping centre traffic lights into Newton Road which takes you downhill.
  • Dundonald Street is the first street on the left after those traffic lights. Caution, it’s a very short block.
  • Lateshift’s building, #25, is at the far end just before the dog-leg to the left. Walk down the sloping footpath at the left side of the building by the trees, our entrance is marked by a blue light.
  • Parking: Dundonald St, New North Road or ‘top of Symonds Street’ area.
From north via Northern Motorway (SH1)
  • Pass through ‘spaghetti junction’ heading south, exit at Gillies Avenue (exit # 431), turn right at traffic lights and immediately right again so you are now heading back north on the motorway.
  • Exit at the next off ramp, Khyber Pass Road (exit # 430). Turn left up Khyber Pass Road to the top of the hill, pass straight through the Symonds Street shopping centre traffic lights into Newton Road which takes you downhill. Dundonald Street is the first street on the immediate left after those traffic lights. Caution, it’s a very short block.

From west via North Western Motorway (SH16)
  • Exit at Newton Road off ramp (exit # 5 ) then turn right across the curved motorway overbridge. Follow Newton Road uphill. Dundonald Street is the last street on your right just before the major traffic light intersection at the top of the hill.
  • Lateshift’s building, #25, is on your right at the far end of Dundonald Street just before the street swings to the left. Walk down the sloping footpath at the left side of the building by the trees, our entrance is marked by a blue light.
  • Parking: Dundonald St, New North Road or ‘top of Symonds Street’ area.
BY TAXI
We recommend Co-op taxis, ph 300 3000. They are reliable, efficient and generally knowledgeable about our location and routes to get here. Ask for an approximate cost when you order your taxi and ask for a car with electronic/credit card payment facility if you require one.

BY BUS:
  • Use the Maxx bus travel planner (http://www.maxx.co.nz/) from your address or location to: Symonds Street, Eden Terrace.
  • Your driver can direct you to the well-known Symonds Street/Mt Eden Road/New North Road intersection just a block or so away from the nearest bus stop. At this intersection walk around the corner of the photocopy shop building.
  • This short street (just 4 or 5 buildings long) is Basque Road and where it swings to the right is the start of our street, Dundonald Street. Our building, #25, is straight in front of you as you approach this right-hand corner. Walk down the sloping footpath at the left side of the building by the trees, our entrance is marked by a blue light.
Note: there are very few busses running between 11pm and 6am, especially on weeknights. Should you wish to use a taxi to return home we recommend Co-op cabs, ph 300 3000, and can phone a taxi to pick you up from Lateshift.

BY TRAIN:
  • Use the Maxx bus/train travel planner (http://www.maxx.co.nz/) from your address or location to Mt Eden train station, just three blocks/4 minutes away from Lateshift.
  • Exit the Mt Eden Station via the elevated walkway to Mt Eden Road. Turn left and walk north along Mt Eden Road, past one set of traffic lights and uphill through several short blocks to the major traffic light intersection at the end of Mt Eden Road, where New North Road branches to your left and Symonds Street to the right.
  • Cross over this intersection to the photocopy shop and walk left a few paces and around the corner of the photocopy shop building. This short street (just 4 or 5 buildings long) is Basque Road and where it swings to the right is the start of our street, Dundonald Street.
  • Our building, #25, is on this corner. Walk down the sloping footpath at the left side of the building by the trees, our entrance is marked by a blue light.
